This statement applies to the website jaeckmusic.com, hosted via Cloudflare Pages. The goal is full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

This website was developed to meet the success criteria of WCAG 2.2, Level AA.

Implemented measures (selection):

  • Language declaration: The lang attribute is set to de (DE) and en (EN) respectively (WCAG 3.1.1).
  • Semantic HTML5: Correct use of <header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>, <section> (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • Contrast ratios: Primary text colour #f0ece4 on #080808: >15:1. Accent colour #c9a96e on dark background: >4.5:1 (WCAG 1.4.3).
  • Alternative texts: All informative images have descriptive alt attributes; decorative SVGs carry aria-hidden="true" (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable without a mouse (WCAG 2.1.1).
  • Responsive design: Usable at 320 px width without horizontal scrolling (WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow).
  • Local fonts: Cormorant Garamond and Inter are served locally – no external resource calls (load time, privacy).
